Adamov
- a czech pearl of architectonical brutalism

- a town 16 km (10 miles) N from Brno, status of a town since only 1964
- pop 4 900
- a railway corridor (Vienna-)Brno-Prague(-Berlin) pass through
- beautifully situated in a deep narrow valley of the Svitava river and the Křtinský stream
- developed during 1960-1970s together with an enlargement of ADAST machine works
- big commie blocks situated on very steep slopes completely overgrowing the original village
- bizard views from train windows when passing by Adamov on the bottom of the Svitava valley
