Amazing photos of a truly stunning part of Australia! I was in Adelaide over the long weekend and was taken on a tour of 'the hills' before the Groovin the Moo festival in Oakbank. You guys over there have really kept this part of Oz a secret. Loved the historic charm and all the quirky boutique breweries and wineries and the endless fresh produce available. Can't wait to get back!!

That's quite a testimonial. We are fortunate to have the lush hills on one side and the extensive coast on the other, both easily accessible. The best way to see the Hills is as you did with someone you know or a tour operator showing you around, otherwise it can be very 'stop-start' confusing and you're likely to miss all those tucked away gems.

This has only been a snipett of what the Hills has to offer. Haven't even included lovely towns like Lobethal, Birdwood, Gumeracha, Uraidla etc, not to mention the over one hundred wineries, micro-breweries, galleries, dining options, gardens, historic houses, waterfalls, parks, etc etc. Maybe later some time.
