Seriously...when you are 16 EVERYTHING is expensive!!!! (except pizza slices).I am intent on going to college in Miami, or even FAU, but once I’ve graduated college I wouldn’t be sure where to go next. I’ve heard horror stories about how expensive cost of housing is in Miami, I’m really looking for a relatively cheap place to live. Are there any lofts or apartments in respectable neighborhoods near Miami? I wanna plan ahead, its never to early to have a plan

I think that no brainer move for affordability and for your life's education is to live in the campus dormitory. Period.
You can wrap it into a student loan if affordability is an issue, you can settle into your campus envronment and meet some interesting people. Of course, you will meet some real jackasses too, but that is good thing to have exposure to when you are 18. Meet both types of people and learn the difference and how to deal with them both!
After a couple of years, you will figure out what off campus neigborhood and commute time works for you.
