Fastest growing major airport for 2007 is Doha, closely followed by Moscow (DME), New Delhi and Antalya.

Definitely not. You have to remember that while Berlin is the most populous city in Germany, it is otherwise located in the part of the country with the lowest population density. So many more people live in a 100km radius around Frankfurt than live in a similar radius around Berlin.
BTW, the 14.52 million is just the figure for the TXL airport, there's also SXF.


What I find really surprising are the low passenger numbers of Warsaw and St. Petersburg. I would have expected both somewhere in the 12-15 million passenger range.

Why Italian's autorities still use "Fiumicino" instead of "Leonardo da Vinci" to name Roma's main airport ? It's like saying "Paris-Roissy" instead of "Paris CDG".
