The National Library of Algeria (in French: Bibliothèque nationale d'Algérie, in Arabic: الجزائرية الوطنية المكتبة) found its origin in 1835. Its current building was inaugurated in 1994. Its has a surface of 67000m², it was design to house more than 10 millions books. It can accept more 2500 searcher at a time. It is the legal deposit and copyright for Algeria.
