The second oldest trophy in sports history and the most prestigious yachting regatta will be competed for between holders Swiss Team Alinghi and Emirates Team New Zealand after NZL92 won the right to challenge today beating Spain's Luna Rossa 5-0 and taking the Louis Vuitton Cup 2007!

Best of 9 or more precisely first to 5 starts 24 June! 17 more sleeps :).

No worries there are a couple of Aussies, in the ground support staff.

Alinghi has 2 Aussies and 10 kiwis on there sailing team! It's almost like well be racing ourselves! And that's not even looking at round support.

Good luck to the Swiss! NZ has already had it, give it to the Europeans for a while.

Amusing how Alinghi is loaded with ringers from NZ.

What a race! the lead changed about 7 times, this series is heading towards a race 9 showdown by the looks of it, absolutley nothing between the boats.

Shit I need to keep up with this.... last I heard we were one down! Go NZ!! (as in Team NZ, not Alinghi lol)

Would be awesome to have the Cup back in the Viaduct...
