Lets go back to the ancient times! :)

Long-time deserted citadel of Rayen is a complete well-preserved ancient city with its all elements including residental houses, stores, bazaar, military units, squares, fortress, religious buildings, Zurkhaneh (traditional Persian gymnasium), stables, schools, ...

Rayen Citadel is a historical site situated in the south-west of Rayen city and is considered the biggest earthen structure of Kerman province. The monument dates back to the Sassanid era (224 AD-651 AD) and covers a 20,000-square-meter area, remaining a symbol of the residential fortresses during the ancient times. It consists of the public quarter and the aristocratic zone.

Really, it's in INCREDIBLE shape.
I don't know how many times it's been restored, but kudos to the Sassanids and the Iranians for passing such beauty on to us.
