If the brickwork turns out like the hotel they’re building round there (can’t remember the name) this will be a good addition to the city.

Very nice.
So Beech Design and Build is their own internal company. They have just hired two new peeps. Similar design to Tim Groom though so Im happy with that.

The one that’s under construction at the minute, assumed it was a hotel but there’s so much going on at the minute.... anyway, whichever one it is, I drove past last Friday night and thought it looked absolute class.

Docs are in. Stunning!! Reminds me very much of Port Street.

Hefty too.
There's going to be some medium fat density around here soon...

Manchester City centre is slowly turning into a European city centre, with midrises slowly filling the outskirts of the city centre, stretching it outwards. Reminds me of places like Seville and Milan, where there is no definite beginning or end to their city centres, only the change in buildings, heights, etc gives it away. As for New Cross, it's turning out to be a very exciting new area, with quality buildings and a defined grid pattern. :)

This is surprisingly decent. No blank walls, well defined panelling, it's almost mill like in design.

I especially like how the design changes on the upper floors.

Me too. Adds depth to the building. Those corner balconies are pretty cool.
Lovely lovely lovely.

I live right in the middle of that "density" image. As a neighbourhood it all feels very open at the moment, and quiet all the time. Nearest shop is a fair old walk away. How that will change in the next few years!!

Out of general interest is it normally in the public domain how much the section 106 payments are and how we know they do get spent as described?

I've seen s106 agreements that were uploaded to the documents section of the planning portal but I'm not sure if this is the case with every scheme.
