Angola to host international hockey competition

Portugal, France, Chile and Angola were candidates for organizing the hockey world championship in 2013. October 29th in Dornbirn, Austria, the general assembly of the Rink Hockey International committee has unanimously appointed Angola as host country of the world games. Prior to that event, Angolan National team in group C along with Mozambique, the USA and Portugal, will take part in the World 2011 in Argentina.

Group A: Spain (titleholder), Switzerland, Chile and Holland
Group B: South Africa, Italy, Germany and Argentina (Host Countries)
Group C: Angola, Mozambique, Portugal and USA
Group D: Brazil, France, Colombia and England
