Rem Koolhaas... *shudder* Get away from that by any means!

All books by Léon Krier are recommendable, a selection:

*Léon Krier. Houses, Palaces, Cities. Edited by Demetri Porphyrios, Architectural Design, 54 7/8, 1984.
*Léon Krier Drawings 1967-1980, Bruxelles, AAM Editions, 1981.
*Léon Krier: Architecture & Urban Design 1967-1992, Chicester, John Wiley & Sons, 1993.
*Architecture: Choice or Fate, London, Andreas Papadakis Publishers, 1998.
*Drawings for Architecture, Cambridge (Massachusetts), MIT Press, 2009.
*The Architecture of Community, Washington, Island Press, 2009.

Some selected publications are available online:

One of the first must-read for me it's Delirious New York by Rem Koolhaas of course!
That book is great, absolutely recommended!

Other interesting book, but a bit harder to read, is Complexity and Contradiction in Architecture, by Robert Venturi. Special for those who are interested in Postmodern architecture :eek:kay:
