Hello altogether,

I am an Architect, and I have 4 years of work experience and I can sign Project all around Europe and Brazil.

I plan to move Oslo.

My question is, if you could give me some hints about the current situation of architects (jobs and salary) in Oslo, and where I could find a good website with jobs.

My husband is a Subsea Engineer (Oil and Gas industry) with 2 years of experience (onshore and offshore). Do you know the average salary?

We dont speak norwegian at all. However. Do you think this can be a stopper?

Thank you for your help.

I'm also an architect.

First. You need to learn norwegian. Maybe you could get a few months of work without, but the government will not give you a permanent work permit without passing a language test.

The minimum salery is aprox 50.000 euros a year, maybe 60.000. (Before taxes)

I guess the subsea engineer is from 70.000 and up, depending on the job. A job should be no problem as long as you speak norwegian.

Jobs for architects is far better than rest of europe, but its not very easy (by norwegian standards)

Jobs is found at finn.no and arkitektnytt.no

Seem you plan to move to Norway but don't really have a plan.
Unless you're top of you're class you will have problems get a job.
But we're in need of health-care workers and it never seems to be
enough bartenders (luckily for us since we get a lot of nice swedish
girls coming over) etc
Salary about 35-45K€
