New residential project to take shape in Subang
19-10-2012

Iconic: Located right next to the Federal Highway and New Klang Valley Expressway, Arte @ Subang West aims to be a new icon in the area.

A NEW work of art is coming to Subang and is set to be a new icon in the area with its eye-catching architecture and creative living spaces.

Aptly named, Arte @ Subang West is the latest in the series of artistic projects by Nusmetro Land Sdn Bhd, a company that is not afraid to be creative and innovative in its designs.

“This is a lifestyle oriented residential project. We wanted to bring in interesting elements with an artistic feel to the project. The Arte series appeals to a niche group of people who want to be different,” Nusmetro Group managing director Thomas Chan said, adding that many of their buyers are first-time property owners.

One of the key features of Arte @ Subang West is the glass cube lounge that will be built with the sole purpose of providing a chill zone for residents and their guests alike.

“It is a three-storey structure that will be clearly visible from the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Federal Highway, both of which are right next to the project. At any one time, the place can accommodate up to 80 people,” Chan said.

The lowest floor will be a place for recreational activities such as pool and darts while the middle storey is a bar and finally there is the relaxation area at the third level.

“We will be furnishing the cube with Vondom lighted furniture by renowned designer Karim Rashid,” he added.
If you have trouble imagining all this, even with a brochure in hand, visit the Nusmetro showroom where they have come up with fun ways to explore their projects further.

Chan said that visitors at their sales gallery can check out Arte @ Subang West using the Kinect setup where they will be able to ‘walk’ around the entire project that is depicted in full 360 degrees.
He also pointed out that many of the aspects they expect to build at the actual project such as the wavy wooden panel wall design in the lobby has been incorporated into the gallery design.

The project consists of duplex units with a starting price at RM450,000.

Arte @ Subang West offers owners customised layout

Unique selling point: (From left) Yew, Nusmetro Group senior sales and marketing manager Shirley Cheong and senior marketing executive Stephane Chung showing a model of Arte @ Subang West.

LIVING in a space surrounded by artistic elements may sound like a fantasy to some but Nusmetro Group is turning that dream into reality for its property owners in Shah Alam.

Their latest development, Arte @ Subang West follows the success of Arte @ Kuchai Lama under the company’s art series.

“It’s all about living in a modern building and surrounded by contemporary art pieces,” said sales manager Sean Yew.

The development, he said, was also special as every unit is a duplex. Buyers only need to choose the floor which suits them best.

“We are different from other developments, which differentiate themselves by the number of sizes of rooms available,” said Yew.

Each unit has two floors — the living and dining space, which take up 600sq ft, are on the lower floor while the rooms are placed on the upper floor.

Buyers, he said, are allowed to customise their units and the number of rooms according to their needs.

“After purchasing the unit, all they need to do is tell us how many rooms they want; from one to three rooms,” said Yew, adding that construction works for the property had begun and is due to complete by the end of 2015.

The first two floors of the property has been allocated for retail where 15 units of retail shops are expected to fill the space.

There will also be a three-level Chill Zone within the building’s iconic glass cube where it is set to house a recreation area, cafes and a lounge filled with Vondom lit furniture designed by industrial designer Karim Rashid.

For those who want some fun in the sun can spend their evenings at the Aqua Zone which boasts ahot tub, aqua gym, barbecue area and an infinity pool.

Arte @ Subang West is adjacent to the Federal Highway and is a stone’s throw away from Tesco Extra and the Management and Science University in Section 13, Petaling Jaya.

Starting price is RM466,000. For details, call 03-7955 6676 or visit the sales gallery at 105 and 106, Block E, Phileo Damansara I, 9, Jalan 16/11, off Jalan Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
