Eritrea was once a colony of Italy and an architectural playground, maybe some Italians know about it...Anyway, here are a few videos and pictures for those who want to find out.:)

Here is an interesting documentary about Asmara, truly a MUST WATCH! AN ARCHITECTURAL GEM! And already a World Heritage Site...up to 600-700 (!!) modernist buidings scattered throughout the capital, it is said to be the largest cocncentration IN THE WHOLE WORLD

Another interesting report by Australian TV on Asmara´s modernist legacy

Truly amazing. An exceptionally well preserved time capsule telling the story of a whole architectural style in a way that you cannot find in Italy itself, being all details blurred and re-interpretated in postrwar times.

Thanks, thanks a lot. A really unique job!

Thanks from posting, MO. I wish all the best to Eritrea.
