Asian Property to launch 10 more projects

The Nation July 13, 2012

Asian Property Development plans to launch 10 new residential projects worth Bt11.62 billion in the current second half as it pursues its full-year presale target of Bt20 billion.
Two will be detached-house projects worth a total of Bt2.1 billion, six will be townhouse projects worth Bt6.63 billion, and the remaining two will be condominiums worth a total of Bt2.89 billion.

This is part of its business plan to launch 17 projects worth Bt20.3 billion this year, chief marketing officer Vittakarn Chandavimol told a news conference yesterday. In the first six months, it launched seven projects worth Bt8.68 billion.

The first of the two condominium projects being launched in the current half is Aspire Sathorn-Taksin, worth Bt890 million. It has 546 units starting at Bt1.5 million. This is the seventh Aspire condo project launched since 2010. The first six are on Rama IV, Ngarmwongwan, Srinakarin, Rama IX, Sukhumvit 48, and Rattanathibet.

Vittakarn said demand for condos priced between Bt1 million and Bt3 million was growing strongly. The company's research shows that 63 per cent or 12,907 of the 20,343 condominium units for sale in Greater Bangkok in the first quarter were in that price range.

Meanwhile, Asian Property Development sold 70 per cent of Aspire Rattanathibet's 540 units since introducing the project last month. Starting price is Bt1.2 million.

Given the demand for condos priced between Bt1 million and Bt3 million, the company has kicked off a new marketing campaign, Aspiring Heights by AP, at CentralWorld, running from now until Sunday. Home-buyers who book its condominiums at this event are eligible to pay zero interest for the first six months of the mortgage and for discounts of up to Bt100,000 per unit. The company targets sales of Bt700 million from this event
