Facing The Future: The Villa Angela Business District

Set in a 24-hactare area, from Villa Angela Arcade to the area just before the Magsungay Bridge, the Villa Angela Business District will soon become the destination of the future.

Based on a clean environment and excellent lifestyle, the Villa Angela Business District will provide a fun yet secure and green environment where people can enjoy the best that life can offer. It will be a compact district of dining & recreation parks, specialty stores and shopping malls with the Bacolod Government Center as its focal point.

The initial phase of its development is the first information technology park in Western Visayas registered and accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the East Block IT Park, covering an area of eleven thousand six hundred sixty five (11,665) square meters. Presently, it has two buildings that houses call centers, restaurants, internet café, and wellness spa.
The Villa Angela Business District beams of a bright future with great potential for massive growth and prosperity.

Commercial And Business Centers

Don Padok, as he was popularly known, started his successful real estate venture in war-ravaged Manila when he commissioned, Pablo S. Antonio, who later became a National Artist for Architecture, to build the Capitan Luis Gonzaga Building at the corner of Avenida Rizal and Calle Carriedo in 1950 and the Sea Tower Building in Roxas Boulevard corner Libertad St., Pasay City in 1958.

In 1950, he also tasked Architect Antonio to construct his residence along San Juan-Gonzaga Streets in Bacolod City. More than a decade after, Don Padok put up another FFGI edifice, the Dona Angela Building located at Gonzaga-Locsin Streets.

To deepen the business development along Araneta Street and to trigger the growth on the east, Fernando F. Gonzaga, Inc. built commercial establishments which are foundations for the future growth and success of Bacolod. The company identified the current development trends in business and implemented a development plan to meet the needs of a fast growing city and province.

Now on the drawing board is the Conceptual Master Plan of Villa Angela Business District as prepared by Urban Planner, Architect Nathaniel von Einsiedel of Consultants for Comprehensive Environmental Planning, Inc. which has the new Bacolod City Government Center as its focal point.

^^maybe they should find a bigtime developer like ayala or MW or rockwell to have the area developed similar to what the floirendo's did in CDO and DAvao where they partnership with ayala gave birth to centrio and abreeza.
I agree migo champ, they would need a big startup capital to help push this project into reality and the advantage is the area has no illegal occupants and no existing structures in addition to being along the circumferential highway connecting straight to the airport via the under construction airport access road..

another advantage is the population migs. remember that the lot sits in one of the biggest barangays in Bacolod in terms of both size and population. siling pa gne nila before puede na kuno himuon separate nga ciudad...:nuts: I think ang kinanglan nila is more access from the southern part...dira nayun bla sa taculing kay daw wla gd jeepney route nga galabay dira...mala-ayala mn na da ang ila style nga live-work-play setting kay gn.una establish ang mga subdivisions...madugang pa ang hi-residences...hulat2x lng ta kay indi magdugay may matuhaw nmn dira for sure...:banana:

Tani Festival Mall ma construct di sa Bacolod Business Park ba....wish ko lang...
maybe an Eastwood type of development would be suitable for this area.
A city-owned hospital (PPP) would also be nice!
