Does anybody know of any recording studios in Baltimore or Washington D.C.? Please tell me the how much the rates are per hour (to create songs, or a album), there phone number, location, and if they have one web address!
There's Hour Haus on North Ave. I think Load of Fun Studios is on North Ave. too or somewhere near there. Deep Flow Studios is in Brooklyn Park. I think Rod Lee has his recording studio somewhere on Saratoga Street, but I'm not sure if it's open to just anyone. I'm sure if he heard Infoman was coming though, he'd roll out the red carpet.
As has been mentioned here before, Baltimore has a number of very vibrant music scenes, and there is a lot of homegrown music produced here in the city. The problem is most of the scenes are so tight-knit unless you're on the inside, it's hard to know where performances are held and where music is produced. Those should be a start though. After you've exhausted those resources, you should try Google.
