damn impressive! does it still look like this? Or are there other areas in nyc that are as decayed and gritty as this?

now i have seen many pictures of the bronx at this time, but nothing like this. This is beyond urban decay. Its sad to see that a part of the city was like this at one point, but im sure that alot of the southern bronx has been cleaned up. In some of the pictures though, it looks likes its been hit with a nuke.

This area now looks nothing short of spectacular, in comparison anyway.

I know some of those blocks, if I had a digi camera I would def make an update...well maybe when I get some loot

What's wrong with it? Lots of areas in Brooklyn look like this. You know where Dewey H.S. is? Lafayette H.S.? Marlboro projects? How is that any better than this.

If we would compare them to today's look of the South Bronx, then probably some of them would be gentrified while the vacant lots that are shown might have been filled in.

eh, I just don't think it looks anything extraordinary. The condition is not perfect on some of these, but the actual buildings are identical to lots all over the city.
