Without a subway connection, the Temple of Heaven is quite a distance from Tiananmen Square. I made the long trip down Qianmen, got lost, and finally found the entrance with a little help from the locals.

Here are some photos from the neighborhood.



















I've been to this attraction before. It was the first stop on my first visit to Beijing, and nothing much has changed except a fresh coat of paint. Sadly, the weather wasn't too good on both visits.

It's not all that far from Tianamen....

It's a nice area too and Temple of Heaven park is my favourite in the whole of beijing city! I often fall alseep on a bench when I go there.:)

I think the park and the atmosphere there is much nicer than the temple itself do you have any pics of it?
