Andras House submitted a planning application (LA04/2020/0659/F) in February 2020 proposing to refurbish the existing four storey terrace including alteration and partial demolition for office use and a new 15 storey apart-hotel building to the rear.

The scheme, known as Bedford Yard, comprises a 154no. room apart-hotel within the new-build 15 storey building and c.10,000ft2 of office accommodation within the existing four storey terrace.

Hard to see this going anywhere in light of current events... can't imagine demand for new hotel rooms will be required for the next few years...

Recommended for approval next week.

Been some modifications to the design, now 13 floors instead of 15, and there is less tampering to the ground floor of the existing building on Bedford Street.

I take it the title height needs to change then it has it already been corrected?
I’m glad this one seems to be going ahead as this fits well with the area.
Just need Great Vic street to get some redevelopment following the completion of the transport hub.
