They've matched the brick quite well given the age discrepancy between the old and new. It helps the original brick was cleaned only a couple of years ago.
Nope, that glorious wall of grey is there to stay. They are only refurbishing the interiors of the half of the building fronting Donegall Place.The front facade I can live with, it's the backside that's an affront to architecture. Is anything being done with that?
The four storey building is being refurbished, but will have a new facade- no decent renders on the planning portal sadly. The two storey bit on the left is being demolished and being replaced with a four storey building.Oh nice - its a replacement as opposed to a refurbishment?
