Spot the difference since the last photo in December!
Ah nice! I thought they had forgotten about this! Lol - I was wondering when there was going to be a bit of movement on this. Good to see it started.Spotted a piling rig and construction plant at the weekend, on the site for the University's new multi-story car park. Great to see this side project underway. Though it does look a bit of a beast!

That's supposedly the longer term plan for that street. It really needs done, since the M3 was built a lot of the roads in that area have been left completely oversized.Really hope there's a massive upgrade of the public realm once it's complete as for pedestrians that road is like trying to cross an ocean it's that intimidating, noisy and horrible. Perhaps they could drop a couple of road lanes, widen the footpaths to accommodate alot more plants, trees, cycle lanes etc. Just make it a nice pedestrian friendly place to work, study and live.
I watch this one with interest each week as i pass by. There's almost no progress or work being done on it. There seems to be only a small crew of people even working on it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this project doesn't ever complete. That would of course be a tragedy for the city.
