Here are a few photos of Rome from my recent trip to Italy and Greece.

I can't wait to get back and spend more than a few days in each city!

Nice pics. Please, name the photos so we can know which places these are. I hardly know that the second pic is the Roman Forum and the last one is the Coloseum at night (isn't it?)

It seems like all the buildings in Rome are old, but you would be surprised at the beautiful interiors of many of these buildings. Don't be fooled by the outside, though many of the buildings are beautiful outside also.

O thou new comer who seek'st Rome in Rome
And find'st in Rome no thing thou canst call Roman
Arches worn old and palaces made common,
Rome's name alone within these walls keeps home.

Behold how pride and ruin can befall
One who hath set the whole world 'neath her laws,
All-conquering, now conquered, because
She is Time's prey and Time consumeth all.

Rome that art Rome's one sole last monument,
Rome that alone hast conquered Rome the town,
Tiber alone, transient and seaward bent,

Remains of Rome. O world, thou unconstant mime!
That which stands firm in thee Time batters down,
And that which fleeteth doth outrun swift time.

There's nothing like Rome

It´s from a Spanish poet called Quevedo who lived in the XVII century, a true classic in Spain. It´s the first time I read it in English.Yes, it´s a good poem.

I just came back from Rome and I really loved it the city is very beautiful and it has so much culture...but sadly I had a problem in the subway because they stole my wallet but luckily I had left my passport at the hotel but it was definetely worth it because rome has been the most interesting city I have ever visited and I want to go again in a few years
