the real old part of the town is reached by some really charming streets, or one big street I will show other pics. This part is called "citta' alta" (upper town) that is sourrended by Venetians walls of 15th Century

I visited Bergamo very briefly, I was there to visit the airport, but the city was really beautiful, both the old and the new town. The new part felt a bit dangerous after dark, I wouldn't expect that of such a small city.

Thanks for sharing. Bergamo is the first town I visited in Italy and I have great memories of it. The new town has some great buildings, but the old town is the real attraction. It is stunning!
