Recently, i know of many people from Sibu, Miri, and even Kuching migrate to Bintulu for work.BDA/local authority should focus on low cost housing. with more low cost residential, bintulu can attract more peoples to migrate here especially people from sebauh, tatau, sg asap, belaga, balingian, kakus and even selangau. this will boost population growth for bintulu.
In my opinion, Bintulu need to balance its development in every areas within it. For example, in last year, the state government choose Jepak areas to clear the land to establish new convection centre of Bintulu. Now, the Muara Kemena bridge is still in construction and it takes about 3 years to complete. After the completion of Muara Kemena Bridge, the town area of Bintulu will become more larger with new residential and commercial of Jepak area, thus shorten the travel distance from Bintulu to the airport, Kuala Tatau, Balingian, Mukah and etc. This is why bintulu need to stop build residential and commercial within 11km in kidurong. Maybe focus to kamena or jepak area for future bintulu development.
