Hi everyone, I have been stalking this forum for a while. I run 2 small websites and after reading everyones comments I have decided to test the water and create a informative website on Birminghams nightlife, its not finished yet however would like people to take a look of what I have done so far and tell me if they like the way I am going with this.

I also want peoples ideas, I am going to change the pub page as I do not want it layed out like that now, instead I am going with the pub, bars name, some information and a link to there website. I will make all pages like that.

Finnaly I want at least 50 Pubs for now for the Pujb page, mainly in the City Centre, however I need some from all over as well, so lets get listing please.

I also want at least 20 Real Traditional Ale Pubs.

At least 20-30 Bars. And 15-20 nighlubs.

So any help?

I don't mind writing a few reviews/descriptions for you. Obviously they are subjective, but I'd be happy to help. How many words per venue? I don't think you should limit the numbers either. Also you've spelt Harborne wrong! ;-)

This concept looks really good, Im not very familiar with venues in Brum, so a guide like this would be ideal for many people id think...

Yeah, the spelling, grammar and punctuation are by far the weakest point on what looks to be an otherwise extremely promising site! I think it'll be great when fleshed out, but trust me, you need to get it professionally proofread or very few people will take it seriously.

Hey good idea. My immediate feedback would be that on the first page you need to breakdown the site into geographical areas with clickable overview maps - to do every pub bar and club on one map would be be too much but you can break it down into areas for example

Digbeth
Southside / Hurst st
Board st and Convention Quarter
Mailbox
Jewellery Quarter
Retail area
Colmore Row business district

Overtime you can then add in popular suburbs with a substantial scene such as Moseley , Harborne etc. You could then have local page owners keep their area uptodate - would be happy to provide material for the Jewellery Quarter btw

Yeah and I would happily do Mailbox area. I think that's a great idea
Very good idea, I own a Bar in Tamworth which is fairy new, will you be including the out lying areas?
