Lordship are developing their existing Upper Hill office site and have designed a scheme for the medical profession & growing medical tourism market.
The site’s proximity to Kenyatta Hospital and Nairobi Hospital makes it ideal for a combination of medical suites and apartments for both patients and doctors.
Lordship will develop a mixed-use development of 14,000 sqm which will contain:
•individual medical suites designed to cater for the highest requirements of all medical professionals;
•a state-of-the-art diagnostics centre
•apartments for both patients and doctors
•apartments aimed at the professional market who are looking to live close to Upper Hill & Nairobi’s CBD
Construction commencement is set for Q1 2014 and the total build program is expected to take 15 months.
Due to high demand from medical professionals to buy their medical suites plus a lack of good quality residential accommodation, it is expected Lordship can fund a large portion of the project through a mixture of pre-sales and intelligent cash flowing of the project costs.
Lordship are developing a Grade A office development in the heart of Upper Hill, comprising of
12,000 sqm of office accommodation with 2,000 sqm of associated retail, cafes & restaurants.
•Lordship Square aims to be the premier office development in Nairobi’s new CBD setting high standards for office development in the city
•Lordship will contribute the land as equity and the investors will contribute USD 3.8 million.
•The investment period is three years with Lordship expecting a 6 month planning period plus a 24-30 month phased construction period
•The site is situated directly on the main Ngong Road with the Kenyan Law Courts nearby
•The intention is to create the first “Grade A” office building which will contain all the retail and restaurant amenities with landscaped gardens so that tenants have a unique working environment in the new CBD.

Not only for doctors but for patients too. Also they might come in handy when foreign specialists might be needed to be flown in to handle complicated surgeries or epidemics.Apartments for doctors? Its too early for this based on what happened at the KMA project. They built apartments in the same area targeted at doctors and they are still not occupied. Better focus on providing office space for now.

That is an extension of the wards and the New ICU unit for The Nairobi Hospital.ok..Hey Kenguy if you come back to the forrum..there is a massive project just opposite KNH a few meters from Daystar universiy campus..if you find the place or know the place,is it the Bishop Court?
Kenya road, if Im not wrong.NOCK towers is in upperhill..uh,i forgot the name of the road but construction look stalled because they dug the hole but nothing or nobody is in there and the crane is all rusted out .I don't kno what happen to the project.The site is just a few meters from coca cola Headquaters..I'll find out the name of the road when am back in Kenya

Yeah.That's the name,and Kenguy waht happend to NOCK towers?,I passed there like three weeks ago and the place looks dead.The foundation is dug out but grass is already growing in it.They din't finances or it is how the government delays everything.Kenya road, if Im not wrong.
