awesome idea, belgrade needs one of these, some ppl are grossed out by the idea of standing water in Ada Ciganlija, and they some times dont want to swin in the river or go to the beach....will be a popular site in the city
From what I've been reading lately, 10 million euros is only for the first phase of the project which is construction of the outdoor pools and slides. I don't think the price for the other stuff to be built in 2006 has been announced.Kommandant Mark said:Eh, of course it will be popular..."if you build it, they will come" has been proven true time and time again.
But I don't see me going there...Ada Ciganlija and Lido are so much better than anything this can offer. Ok, its mostly for children & their parents, not people interested in swimming the entire 5km lenght of Ada a few times every day
By the way, doesn't the price seem a little low for something like this?
We can compare to similar projects in the Baltic states![]()

Who cares. I heard a guy from Canada invested in this (If someone has written this below sorry. Didn’t read the whole thread). Its not wasting government money so why not build a water park. If the government did this I would first ask them to set their priorities right.sergionni said:kakvo govno od projekta. jadno![]()

It's being built by the basketball player though the Canadian company might have some involvment in the investment. The design was made by the Turkish company while the Canadian company is providing consulting services on how to build it because they are the biggest water park builders in Canada.Kaća said:Who cares. Thanks for that. I really don’t mind it being built.PyRoMaNiAc said:It's being built by the basketball player though the Canadian company might have some involvment in the investment. ROFL, that explains the striking similarities with Wild Water Kingdom mentioned above.PyRoMaNiAc said:It's being built by the basketball player though the Canadian company might have some involvment in the investment.
