Like I said there was a new design for Aquapark in Blok 44 and there are no blue glasses but more trpopical look. CVRKI will love this.

old idea:

awesome idea, belgrade needs one of these, some ppl are grossed out by the idea of standing water in Ada Ciganlija, and they some times dont want to swin in the river or go to the beach....will be a popular site in the city :)
Eh, of course it will be popular..."if you build it, they will come" has been proven true time and time again.

But I don't see me going there...Ada Ciganlija and Lido are so much better than anything this can offer. Ok, its mostly for children & their parents, not people interested in swimming the entire 5km lenght of Ada a few times every day;)

By the way, doesn't the price seem a little low for something like this?
We can compare to similar projects in the Baltic states:D

From what I've been reading lately, 10 million euros is only for the first phase of the project which is construction of the outdoor pools and slides. I don't think the price for the other stuff to be built in 2006 has been announced.
Wonder what they'll do after this...maybe a Dubai-style Palm in the Danube?
Belgrade sure has plenty of room.
Brrrr.... I see Wild Water Kingdom written all over it.:|
Is this Paspalj's project ?
The new design is much better than the original.
Great idea :)

yes.
Yes this new project is better, I'm glad it's not on Ada, but yet it's right across it. It'll be interesting for children, I hope for some extreme rides for those with wilder spirit (that's not me). Anyway Bg is loosing nothing with this project, beside the fact there're Ada and Lido, for a city with 2 million inhabitants this is just one more extra oasis in it's offer.
kakvo govno od projekta. jadno :)

Who cares. I heard a guy from Canada invested in this (If someone has written this below sorry. Didn’t read the whole thread). Its not wasting government money so why not build a water park. If the government did this I would first ask them to set their priorities right.

It's being built by the basketball player though the Canadian company might have some involvment in the investment. The design was made by the Turkish company while the Canadian company is providing consulting services on how to build it because they are the biggest water park builders in Canada.

Thanks for that. I really don’t mind it being built.
:dj: :eek:kay: Hey I like it!

Looks,er..... refreshing. Those fake palm trees really blend with commie blocks in the background. For a lack of a better word, "The view of paradise". :D

ROFL, that explains the striking similarities with Wild Water Kingdom mentioned above.:D
