we have waterparks. raging waters, the one in six flags and the one next to knotts. they all suck tho id rather go to the beach

santa monica is okay as long as you stay on the south-side of the pier. because there are reefs on the other side of thepier so the waves are small, and that side is always infested with swarms of chicanos
its also the nearest beach to LA, the sand is awesome, and the water is chemically clean beacuse its the only beach that filters their sewagew water.
plus u can hang out at the promande after youre done beaching so thats always cool
but alot of people say that santamonica is dirty, but the truth is they dont know anything about beaches so dont listen to them haha

i went to malibu and miami last time,, they were awesome!!1

and i went to newport todayy and it wasn't too nice. the sand was brittle, and there were riptides all overtheplace and alot of jellyfish were out there. the sand in the water also had a huge dip, and the shore slope was steep. but the waves were humongo and they broke evenly and it was a hot day today 103 degrees in the valley so perfect beach weather
