British Formula 1 fans will have a rare chance to get up close and personnel with a BMW Sauber Formula 1 car when the team’s Pit Lane Park heads to Manchester in a fortnight’s time.

The F1-style theme park will be set up in the shopping centre’s car park and will feature a 110-metre asphalt track, on which World Touring Car driver Augusto Farfus will drive one of BMW’s F1 cars throughout the weekend.

Other activities for visitors will include driving simulators, a fuel stop, a pit stop Challenge and an F1 Lab.

Admission is freed opening hours are: Friday 4 July 11am-10pm, Saturday 5 July 10am-10pm and Sunday 6 July 10.00am-8pm.
