OK so Boeing get taken to court.

But that is not really the problem. The problem is that this "cancelled" order, cancelled allegedly in March 2020, still show up on the Boeing Order List in full as 40 unfillled orders.

Some of the shareholders have had enough of the way Boeing has been run.

We currently expect the necessary regulatory approval to allow Max deliveries in the third quarter,” Calhoun says on 29 April. “We are very confident that the process will conclude with the… certification.”

Fairly complicated one, it looks like AC will continue with the MAX 8 while only ditching the MAX9 orders and getting A321LR (or XLR) instead.

Another snippet there is that Boeing are playing hardball with any airlines who had NOT agreed compo deals for the MAX groundings by January or so, they are not paying up for coronavirus, which is NOT the fault of Boeing may I add :) , but that does not affect any deals made last year.
