Hi all,

I went to Bordeaux in august 2010. Here some impressions of the city. Made some HDR's here and there, lot of RAW street photography. Also, I'll be helping out my photoforum colleagues as mod. I'm not new as a mod, I've been moderating the WDN forums. I'll update the thread once in a while.

Enjoy.

HDR as it is supposed to be :)
I'm sick of people using HDR to mask that they can't take pictures, but this one is really good! :) You might want to tilt the picture just a little bit ;)

Tilt? What exactly do you mean :)
Yeah you're probably right. Although I think it kinda looks cool this way. The streets are on a sort of hill.
Great pictures! We need more pictures of French cities other than Paris.
Bordeaux... a really great, very nice French city; the architecture for examble is great

The smell was somehow horrible though. A lot of buildings could use some renovation too
I was about to say the same...clean and organised.

And you took some great pictures...and very well edited. Glad we can´t smell them :D
Lol. Yea it sure isn't as clean as it looks like on the pics
great set. some nice hdr's here. i love 58. i was trying to get a similar patsy kind of effect on my entry to the upc this week.
I know I've said this before in some other thread but I just don't like the look of Bordeaux. For some reason, many French people, including Parisians, think its so great, with its largely 18th-century city-centre which preceded (and maybe even influenced) Haussmannian Paris. But I just don't dig it.

To me, it's the least attractive of the major French cities. I find beauty instead in Lille, Strasbourg, Lyon and Nice, all in or near the eastern edge of France, all cities with color, unlike Bordeaux. Paris can get away and still be beautiful in my opinion despite the lack of color just because it's a grandiose city but Bordeaux cannot, in my humble opinion. Bordeaux needs the color.

Thanks for sharing pics, nonetheless. There are some good shots here.
