Last week

The Don's early ground. Sadly for me the museum was closed, it's being upgraded to a Cricket Hall of Fame. But it's a pleasant town so I'd be happy to go back for another visit.

Mittagong which is only about 2/3 km away seemed nice as well. I had lunch at a very big and new RSL there, very good. Didn't get any pictures, maybe next time.

I knew Cull would like the chimney.

^yeah i measured it at 39m/130ft tall a few years back. the Austral brickworks were going to demolish it but too many people said no,its a town landmark and we love it. so its here for good.

Nice little town, although the commercial architecture is generally uninspiring, but better maintained than it was in the 80/90s. The Royal looks like somewhere you might go into now.....

Apparently the Springetts (arcade pic 14) and Bunters (shop pic 17) are relatives of mine, thoug I can't recall meeting either!
