During my trip to Praha I took a low cost flight to Bratislava (19.90€, thanks RyanAir! :D), the capital of Slovakia.
It was my first time in Bratislava and in whole SK. I slept there just the first night, which was a saturday night so I could enjoy some good nightlife as well. :drunk: Unfortunately I forgot my tripod at the hostel and so I have no night pics of Bratislava's old town, which is small but pretty and well lightened at night.
Anyway I have some pitures I took when I came back from Praha before flying back to Italy... here they are!

Very nice, thanks for the pics.
How lively did it seem to you, cause maybe this particular series of photos make the city look more like a "town"?

Well Bratislava surely doesn't have the feeling of a big European capital city... and it has some decadent feeling as well, expecially out of the small and pretty old town (where there are massive restorations and reconstructions by now). The 2 friends of mine which were with me said it remembered them a lot of Zagreb, so igor_scg is not the only one who had that idea! :) Unfortunately I've never been to Zagreb and Novi Sad as well, but I hope to go there soon, I'm particularly attracted by former Yugoslavian towns.

Nightlife on saturday night was good, but surely, coming from Praha, it was really like being in a town, not a capital city...

pretty. looks like bratislava has both: atmospheare of a small town and a big city. not many cities can do that. and I especially liked this tower, it looks great :eek:kay:
