not really, a lot of the shorline closer to the bay is either docks or former industrial land, there some pretty massive projects of urban renewal that will be redeveloping these sites into big residental hubs into the future though.

Gee they're nice pics, especially the last last one. Looks like lots and lots of apartment blocks line the river. Does this happen all the way to the sea?
On the northern side of the River there are apartment blocks pretty much all of the way to the Gateway Bridge. The southern side (Hawthorne and Bulimba) is more a combination of lowrise medium density and waterfront single dwelling homes.
