If you are using WIFI check the WIFI radio channel in your modem settings. It maybe on the same channel as your neighbours causing deterioration and interruption in the signal. Change it from Auto and manually change the channel until the problem is resolved. 5Ghz should be ok its usually the 2.4Ghz that's the issue.

I'm a dodo with sort of stuff. If you are referring to when I click on the signal/connection symbol in the task bar a lot of those require a security code. Some don't but others might be able to see what I'm doing. I am on WiFi. I notice that there is the function to tick the select auto/manual box?

Just one question - Brisbane is approximately 1h30m from the coast and I am sure that we will visit the city for galleries etc., is there a good website that promotes all the events, lifestyle etc., in BNE ?

Thanks it will be good to get updated pics on a regular basis. Lots of stuff happening up there. Especially with the build of the new city centre and other proposed projects

It's about 1.20 by car and around 2 hours with a bus and train to Brisbane from there. This will be reduced when the train line is duplicated and realigned from Beerwah to Beerburrum. I suspect it will shave off 10-15nins off the total journey.

So the Queensland Maritime Museum is to permanently close on December 31. The Paluszczuk government gives $200,000 a year to this museum. They pay more each year for just one of their goons to “advise” a minister each year. It’s just too disgusting for words.

It would be a sad loss, I guess we all need to make an effort and visit soon, maybe give them the funding boost that they need. Plus hopefully, Southbank, and the Council, State and Federal governments can get together to work something out to get them over covid.

I would like an Antarctica visitors centre and experience put in its place. Powered by solar voltaic panels. House some seals and penguins and other cold water wildlife.

Maybe an clean energy company can sponsor it. They are making millions at the moment.

Parts of the the existing maritime museum can be integrated into the Antarctic Centre.

As part of the experience for Adults, it could included an ICE Vodka bar looking over the river. Ice tables etc..Pay 20 bucks and get a double vodka of choice and get to sit, socialise and enjoy a unique environment for up to 60 mins.
