Brownfield and abandoned industrial zones in your cities.

I'm curious what happens in the now mostly abandoned industrial zones in our post-industrial Bulgarian cities and what do you think should their future - total abandonment, industrialisation or general changes like redevelopment or even total conversion. It will be interesting to see some pictures of what was and what is now.
