23 August Stadium, built in 1953 and replaced by National Arena.
This is where many National Football Team games were played despite Ghencea being preferred in the 90's because of no athletics track.
The stadium, after the Revolution is rather known for two Michael Jackson concerts held in 1992 and 1996 and Gala Hagi in 2001.
It hosted over 40 Romanian Cup finals.
The last game played on the stadium was Romania 6-1 Albania in 2007 for the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
