Yet another apartment tower to Buckhead. We actually first learned of this tower in early 2017. Looks like they're ready to begin construction.

AMLI is slated to start construction on a two-building apartment development as part of a large-scale project in Buckhead.

Bisnow reports that AMLI Oak Valley will include a 24-story tower, as well as a mid-rise apartment building wrapping a parking deck. Eight permit filings with the City of Atlanta indicate the tower will include 307 units, while the mid-rise building will add 84.

The newer plans are part of a larger project at the former development site of CityPlace—a pre-recession mega project that was to include at least six condo towers with nearly 4,000 residential units. Last year, a tower and mid-rise offerings at AMLI 3464 opened on the eastern portion of the site, facing Roxboro Road.

Now, the Oak Valley portion of the project is planned for the western portion of the site, nearest to Lenox Square and the Lenox MARTA Station.

The entire development centers on a new greenspace, Marie Sims Park, which opened in 2015.

Construction on the new project is slated to last through the end of 2019.

Wow. I'd completely forgotten about this one.

The pedestrian levels are serviceable and the highrise portion is pretty handsome. If the final structure is close to that I'd be pleased.

The disjointed window spacing near the right edge of the building in that photo knocks the appeal down a notch for me. Relatively handsome apart from that, though.
