Well, I don't like projects of Plaza Centers Europe*, but it should be worse...

When I look at http://www.plazacenters.cz/ and I see where everywhere they are going to open their centers.. good thing is, that they are not the same..

Are there any visualisations, or exterieur photos of Aréna Plazza Mall? :cheer:

*There should be nice park with pond and calm zone in my homecity centre, so that is why I don't like them :(

Nop, unfortunately no visualisations available yet... :eek:hno:
Yes, you are right Feyd-Rautha.

I dont like Plaza Centers either. Although they are a big firm and have constructed many shopping malls internationally and are israeli developer I find their other projects in Czech Republic cheap. At least from outside their malls are big boxes without any visual appeal. And the materials are used are not very good. I find that they tend to construct just outside of city centers where their boxes and cheap materials will not matter. And based on the construction images, it looks like another box. But who knows. Maybe this project will be better. I like the interior.

Good luck to Budapest!

Ok, but we are not in America. I lived there for two years, and that was enough... Anyway compared to the European cities Bp has quite many malls...

Pittsburgh, Pa is not a bad place though...

In and around New England, there are some bearable places that have some culture. Although I didn't like NYC - the streets were dark because the skyscrapers block the sunlight.

But in the suburbian village where I live in, life is incredibly boring...unless you like American TV (Pfft), or like to drive around with SUVs.

or like to drive around with SUVs.

Listen to 50 Cent (or some sh*t like that), and have the gangsta' feeling...

You are right. Its even worse than West End (aesthetically speaking).

Westend is still better than Duna Plaza, Mammut I-II, Árkád, Polus Center, Lurdy ház, Campona, Savoya park...etc...

Yeah... they are nothing special, are they? Árkád is ok I think but doesn't impress me much. Duna Pláza is horrible outside and inside as well (Árkád looks acceptable inside at least). Pláza Centers has no taste at all in my oppinion.:eek:hno:
After the outlets opened, im not even going close to these ugly things. Luckily all the good movies are being played at "art" cinemas anyways (Puskin,Művész,Odeon etc.)
My personal favorite is Urania, but I prefer MOM Park if I'd like to see a movie played only in Multiplexes...
