My Korea 2007 trip included a stop in Busan, the southern port city. In the next little while, I will open a Busan gallery on my website and start a Busan photo series in SSC.

1 Ocean meets land.

2 A huge bridge spans the water just off the coast, providing a major short-cut between the western and eastern parts of the city.

3 A very flashy residential pair.

9 Not at all surprised with all the boats considering Busan is a coastal city.

10 Subway stations are well-designed and interestingly decorated. This line's stations are green, and have the standard numbering as with Seoul's subway stations.

11 There are a couple of famous beaches in Busan. Here's one in the distance.

19 Busan has a rugged landscape, with hills and water making the city very pretty.

Nice to see Busan getting some pub. It plays a huge part in South Korea's influence on the world, and being arguably South Korea's second city, it's a tad underrated.
