Hopefully

Slowly the supertalls are being constructed. Starting this year, the 300m projects have gone into construction. I guess starting next year or the year after that the big (500m) supertalls will start construction.

^^
Does Busan really got some coconut trees?

I would love to see this kind of architecture in a type of place where there is sunshine all year round and beaches are clear and white such as Miami, LA, Dubai and Honolulu.

I'm hoping they will build this.

Busan to Have 117-Story Building

Busan Metropolitan City will launch a big project to build a 117-story resort building. According to Busan Urban Development Corporation (BUDC), it will enter into an agreement with ``Triple Square Consortium (TSC)’’ on Tuesday to construct the super large resort building at Haeundae, the biggest beach in the country.

If the agreement is completed, TSC will dig ground for the construction, which is scheduled to end in December next year. A total of 1,540 billion won will be invested for the 511 meter-tall building in the land size of 584,000-meter square.

The super-large building will accommodate hotels, condominium, a water park, stages for marine animal show and a four-dimensional theater. ``The planned resort will be the landmark of the port city and is expected to boost tourism industry as well as economy in Busan,’’ a BUDC official said.

Looks like the project still needs to be approved, but that process will most likely follow through.
