They're building a recreational area overlooking the city on top of Mt. Mokattam in the northern part of Cairo. Really low-quality renders but they've already started clearing the area for construction.

This would be pretty good, if they used actual architects with decent ideas, greened up the space, not this mickey mouse CGIs im seeing.

I have no idea what's up with the renders. It seems that there were some make-shift recreational areas in this location which attracted a lot of traffic and the governorate is now trying to capitalize on it by building an actual corniche with mixed-use real estate.
