Lol. Why do you say " it seems like a fantasy project"? :)
Due to its great deep seaport, Kribi is going to be one of the most developed and the most industrilized cities in Africa.
The deep seaport's construction is about 90%. And the construction of some of other projects has already begun.
In a few years, you will be surprised by seeing great highways, shopping malls and tall buildings pictures of Kribi.:)

Too many. Ive been on this forum for 8 years. You have any idea how many overly ambitious projects we hear about that never happen or when they do happen, arr not what tgey said they would be.
popa1980, I understand what you mean, but this Kribi project is very very serious.
To me the industrial complex is happening and it is no fantasy. Whether it will be completed in 10 or 20 years is another question. There are concrete plans for the industrial complex to happen. Companies like CAMIRON have already spent millions in planning, I doubt they will simply abandon their plans when they can potentially make $billions. The part about the city having malls and futuristic stations is the only part that is not concrete. The government hopes, this will naturally follow the huge investment in the complex.

Here are some news related to the development of the Kribi industrial area:

Yes, that is what im talking about. The malls, stations etc- it seems a fantasy.

But good work anyway. Hope that Cameroon can increase growth to 10% once these projects are completed.
