Here some pics i took around some northern English towns and Scotland, we will have classy Harrogate, historic Knaresborough, Bamburgh castle and beach, stunning Edinburgh, Sterling, granite Aberdeen, Inverness, Dunrobin castle, coastlines and countryside, Loch Ness, Glen finnan bridge (Harry Potter), old man of Skye, Glasgow and Lancaster.

Harrogate, very boutiquey place, beautiful architecture and lovely gardens and BIG grand hotels. Famous for Betty's tea rooms the queue was down the street and all bookings taken, we missed out big time!

Royal Spa

Pump room

Majestic hotel next to the Conference center

Knaresborough, a castle and old town on the hill overlooking a gorge with impressive railway viaduct, across the river was an oracle/witches cave, but we didn't have time for that

Going back to watch the sunset

Great, very nice photos; well done :)
Thanks Christos, not posted for a long time and nice to see you are still here :)

Bamburgh castle, there was a Viking (actor) shouting from the ramparts as you approached and they were filming a movie too.

Aberdeen, the granite city, as it was sunny all the building shimmered Probably the biggest surprise fo all the places i went, stunningly grand architecture and easy to navigate city with interesting areas around the cathedral and docks and the main street isn't so blighted by post war developments as other cities and goes on for ages.
