June 30--THE operator of the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) expects to start the P8-billion Circumferential5 (C5) Link Expressway project in the first quarter of 2015.
"We will finish our detailed engineering design around November, so by December we will bid out the project to get a contractor, and in January we start," Cavitex Infrastructure Corp. president Jose Luigi Bautista said.
Are they going to shut down the old Villar C5 alignment?
^^Yup, maybe the expressway ROW will just be near the airport boundaries but wont be get to the airport lot limits.. I dont know but maybe part of clearance procedure for this will involve CAAP.. just guessing..

Ask the squatters who live right beside the airport fence. But seriously pilots will use ILS. It's very accurate. recently Cynthia Villar, Babes Singson and Noynoy were doing an ocular of c-5 cavitex is this related to this thread? also, what are they inspecting? was that the C-5 extension (Near Golden Haven) towards Cavitex road? I heard it was a different road connecting to SLEX... sorry to sound like an idiot but can anyone brief me about this... been back reading this thread but did not see any info on my question. thanks

^^ That project better include a flyover over SLEX and a trumpet interchange in CAVITEX. I've noticed that the Bicutan and Sucat exits are always in traffic so it might relieve the traffic there once this is finished.
