For some airports gathering statistics and putting them on their website is too hard

Yes, moreover I had problem with Polish airports except Warsaw since figures on airports websites are bit different (not much though) compared to figures from Poland's office of civil aviation http://www.ulc.gov.pl/download/pdf/stat2006.pdf

Košice and Ostrava are unreachable for me so far.... still some work to be done here.

If you look carefully in the footnote, you will see that they haven't counted transit and General Aviation PAX.

And as for the stats for this year I can see only two changes for the 'bigger airports' (Poznań and bigger):
1) WAW will overtake BUD, as the new terminal at Okecie opens and the capacity boosts from 3.5 mln (!!!) to 14 mln
2) KTW can close the gap on BTS and even move ahead - the growth should be close to 40% at KTW (probably today stats for May will be known)

Thanks for notice, since it's in Polish I didn't understand it. So I'm going to change all figures according to airport web pages (if possible).

1.782.338 pax in Warsaw in Q1, so 15,6% higher than Q1 2006. It is expected that this year will be between 9.3-9.6 million.

The important issue is that the data do not include transit and general aviation, so I do not know if they are comparable to other aiports in the region? Especially not including transit pax may influence on the outcome significially.

Poland totally is 3.629.814 for Q1 (also without transit and GA)

2 main conclusions is that regional growth in other airports in Poland remains strong and that T2 in WAW will start operations this month which is supposed to raise the number significially in Q3, Q4 and 2008 according to the list of planned connections. The construction of the 3rd runway is planned for 2009 with possibility for extension of existing T2. Also, Etiuda terminal (for low cost airlines) is to be expanded significially after T2 is completed, so construction should start this year.
