Greetings again! This december, between Christmas and the New Year, I went back to Chicago for a short city break, to enjoy the city during winter time. It's food, music, decorations and architecture.

It was as amazing as ever :cheers:

The lobby at The Rookery


A mail box inside Monadnock Building. The "chimney" above is a shaft for mail. There are openings at each floor for secretaries to throw mail inside the box without going down every time.


The Monadnock Building is one of the oldest office buildings in Chicago still in use, and it holds a series of firsts in the world: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monadnock_Building

The floors and offices still look quite old-school:
