Amazing, very nice shots from Chicago :)
superb photos, I always thought of Chicago as a grey kind of place but those photos prove otherwise!
Chicago is a great city. It is actually one of the very few cities in America I could imagine to live in.
great Pictures.
Chicago is very impressive - sitting there on that great lake.
Yeah. I was learning some things about lake Michigan the other day, it turns out that it's connected to the ocean through another great lake. They are expanding it too, so that all ships can come into lake Michigan from the Atlantic ocean. They transport supplies on ships from Chicago's harbor to the Ocean. You might also find a bull shark sometime if you get lucky.
Quality pictures mate, I need to visit this city again sometime soon.
What an impressive and colorful skyline. Very unique without being gaudy
Great photos, alket83! You should post some street level photos if you happen to have any.

All five of the Great Lakes are connected to the Atlantic via the St. Lawrence Seaway. You can travel all the way from Duluth, Minnesota to the ocean, depending on the size of the ship...and of course that involves a lot of slow, tedious lock rides. :)
awesome, impressive skyline and aerial pics ...
Very interesting perspectives there! I never get tired of seeing the view from - and of - Sears **ahem** I mean Willis. :|
very, very impressive skyline.
Great photos of a very impressive city  The new Trump Tower looks so cool :)
Millennium Park is the best thing about Chicago. Whoever designed it deserves a nobel prize

It's a great addition to Chicago, particularly compared to the useless open-air train terminal there before. Now the train terminal is hidden below the nicely realized public space above.

Having said that, it's rarely a space I visited when I lived in Chicago. Other than heading down to the Pritzker Pavilion to enjoy free outdoor summer concerts by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, I tended to avoid Millennium Park to avoid tourists. Some of my favorite things about Chicago are the lakefront, the L, the skyscrapers, the ability to live car-free in pedestrian friendly neighborhoods (I lived in East Lakeview), summer lake breezes, and the city's affordability relative to most other large urban cities in this country. There are plenty of other things I liked as well, but those tend to top the list.

As for those photos, I especially enjoyed seeing the effect the new Roosevelt Tower has on the skyline. It's a beautiful addition! :)
great pictures!! what a city
