I keep forgetting about this one. I know it's been under construction, but for some reason it always slips to the back of my mind. Anyway, thanks for opening a thread on it, Retro, and great photos of the site--nice perspective.
another highrise for Chicago
this isnt one of my favorites going up in the area, but it is a welcomed addition to the skyline
classic nostalgic design built with modern technology. A very chicago building.
I don't like the retro-style that much, but this one is not bad at all.
nice! I like it, but can someone tell me where exactly this building is going to be?

I'd say so too!

I believe it's Walton on the north, State on the west, and Rush on the east.
whoa this is indeed a change of pace for Chi-Town.....seems like one of those old school 1920's buildings where u would see gangster get shot up by a butt load of tommy rounds...lol....however this nice...kinda thin but tall, and anything against the grain is alright with me.

Tower design looks very elegant, plus its tall. I predict another timeless beauty for chicago.
it is elegant, but it looks old very European style.
we will see how it's going to be.
if this is done with the right finishes (which I feel it will be) It will be just stunning, FINALLY a throw-back to the classic architecture we all truly love. The world needs more projects like this.
this tower is going to make a huge impression in the area.
Retro design?
:?
Not bad!
:)
