Holy Shit, that was awesome. Some of those Shanghai pictures I'm sure I have been there but I cannot recognize where it is.

wow, some of these photos look very hong kong like! Especially with all those neon signs!

It's a shame that in the process of 'modernisation' and to 'clean up' the city, many of the neon signs were taken away...
They make Shanghai look very 'asian' and exotic.

Also in those old pictures of the Bund with those huge colourful advertisment boards - they look so cool!
